About Polygraph

For many years, man has sought ways to determine truth from deception, where in 1921 a medical student (John Augustus) invented a polygraph instrument to measure physiological measurements in the human body. The media also coined this instrument as being the ‘lie detector’.

The polygraph instrument is where attachments are attached to the subject and record three physiological changes in the human body, which is controlled by the autonomic nervous system. The three changes recorded are the heart rate/blood pressure, respiration and galvanic skin response.

For many years classroom studies, field studies and protocol studies were made and have found the polygraph to be at least 97% accurate as long as the correct procedures are followed.

The Polygraph can be used to determine if a person is being honest on questions asked: pre-employment screening, in-employment screening, and specific incident.

About Voice Stress Analysis

In 1972 three retired US military officers invented the Voice Stress Evaluator, to determine truth from deception.

Voice Stress Analysis is now the latest technology to determine truth from deception. It records and measures the micro tremors in a person’s speech. There are no attachments attached to the subject, only a recording device, protocols, and analysis of the data.

For many years, classroom and field studies have established this being an accurate tool as long as the correct procedures are followed.

The Voice Stress Analysis can be used to determine if a person is being honest on questions asked: pre-employment screening, in-employment screening, and specific incident.

To book an examination you would need written consent from the subject who may not be compelled to undergo an examination.
